Position Overview

What You’ll Do
Clinical Leadership & Supervision
- Provide weekly clinical and administrative supervision to a team of therapists.
- Offer guidance in case management, ethics, and professional growth.
- Serve as the clinical point of contact for complex cases.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new clinical hires.
- Maintain a reduced caseload of adolescent residents.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches.
- Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
- Ensure documentation meets all ethical, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Review clinical outcomes and make recommendations for program improvement.
- Collaborate with utilization review staff to ensure documentation supports medical necessity.
- Lead weekly clinical team meetings and case conferences.
- Work closely with psychiatrists, counselors, nurses, and residential staff.
- Coordinate with community agencies to ensure seamless discharge planning and follow-up care.
Education & Licensure
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Active LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the State of Virginia (required).
- 2–5 years of experience in a clinical or residential treatment setting working with adolescents.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong background in trauma-informed care, anxiety treatment, and co-occurring disorders.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
