Job Summary:
As an Apprentice Countertop Installer, you will work alongside experienced installers to learn the skills necessary to install granite, quartz, and other stone countertops in residential and commercial settings. This is a hands-on, physical role that offers long-term career growth in the skilled trades. Most apprentice installers are ready to become leads within 6 to 9 months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading, transporting, and unloading countertop materials
- Learn and support the installation of countertops at job sites
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Use hand and power tools under supervision
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers
- Perform additional shop or installation duties as required
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn and work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (75 lbs) with assistance
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or installation work (not required)
- Familiarity with power tools and measuring equipment
