Hallmark Mitigation & Construction, specializing in damage mitigation/reconstruction has an opening for a fulltime, day/night shift, Disaster Restoration Technician. We are looking for a qualified, high energy, problem solving, Restoration Tech who is looking to grow with our company. You MUST be able to pass a background check with NO felonies, No DUI's, etc.
Requirements
- Prior experience in drywall, carpentry or related field is a must
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, equipment, and tools is helpful
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Availability to be on call possibly 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
- MUST be able to pass a background check with No Felonies, No DUI's, etc.
Responsibilities
- We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented, mechanically inclined technician to join our crew
- As a Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to building damage emergencies, assessing the extent of damage, and implementing appropriate mitigation procedures to restore affected properties to their pre-loss condition
- Respond to emergency water/fire damage calls promptly and efficiently
- Conduct thorough assessments of water damage and determine appropriate mitigation procedures
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and restoration activities
- Remove damaged materials and debris as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Knowledgeable of building materials
