If you graduated in 2003 or later, you must have an MSPT or DPT).Licensure: Currently registered/licensed in the applicable state, with an active license in good standing throughout your employment.Experience: One (1) year of experience in post-acute care or a related setting is preferred.CPR Certification: Must be obtained upon hire or during orientation, and must remain current throughout employment.???? Specific Job RequirementsEngage in community health initiatives and projects as appropriate.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.Collaborate with patients, families, and support departments to effectively plan for patient needs.Demonstrate excellent body mechanics at all times.Make independent decisions when necessary.Stay informed about practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities.Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.Exhibit proficiency in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors.Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.Adhere to company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.Uphold integrity and professionalism by following Life Care’s Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training.???? Essential FunctionsFollow and implement physical therapy treatment plans for patients.Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, and functional goals.Oversee and evaluate care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA students.Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.Utilize therapy software effectively and accurately.Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.Assist in the safe evacuation of patients when necessary.Demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.Utilize reasoning skills and good judgment in all situations.Communicate and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.Engage in physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking throughout your working hours.Read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently.Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of our patients!An Equal Opportunity Employer
