Job Description: The Barista/Cashier is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The Barista also serves as the cashier for the Bites Bar and will take in-room dining orders over the phone.

• Create remarkable experiences for our colleagues and guests
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Provide friendly, efficient and personalized customer service, ensuring guests have a positive experience
• Operate espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment while maintaining proper calibration and cleanliness
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage quality and compliance with sanitation standards
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients
• Work as part of a team to support daily operations, including opening and closing duties, restocking supplies and assisting coworkers when needed
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year barista experience
• Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be 18 years old or older
