Desktop Support Engineer (L2/L3)
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer (L2/L3) to provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth functioning of end-user computing systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling VIP users in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 desktop support for end-user systems and applications
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of IT equipment failures
- Handle client-side applications including MS Outlook, MS Office, and other standard tools
- Provide printer support and troubleshooting
- Conduct device validation and visual inspection as required
- Maintain and verify device inventory, including physical comparison with inventory records
- Assist in remote troubleshooting activities by providing on-site support
- Perform basic hardware checks and actions:
- Power on/off devices
- Reseat cables
- Verify power connections
- Reset remote management connection IDs and passwords
- Identify system issues and provide accurate feedback:
- Blue screen errors, stop errors, console display messages
- Audible error reporting and system failure identification
- Support and manage VIP clients with professionalism
- Collaborate effectively with team members and vendors
- Provide timely updates and resolution status to stakeholders
