Required Qualifications:
3 years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3 years of Agile methodology experience and working closely with product partners
3 years of Java development
1 year of Payments Industry experience
3 year of experience with workflow engines utilized for Payment Investigations (ex; Pega Smart Investigate, IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), Finastra, Temenos Payments, FIS Payment Hub / FIS Compliance Suite, Appian, etc.)
1 year of experience Agentic AI & LLM Architecture – Design and build multi-step AI agents (plan → act → evaluate) with memory, tool use, and orchestration patterns (single multi-agent systems)
1 year of experience Strong Software Engineering (Python and Java required) – Develop production-grade systems with Python, Java, APIs, and modular backend architecture; ability to move beyond prototypes to scalable solutions
1 year of experience LLM Frameworks & Agent Tooling – Hands-on experience with LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar to build agent workflows, tool integrations, and automation pipelines
1 year of experience Enterprise Data Integration & RAG – Build retrieval-augmented systems (RAG) using vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and connect agents to enterprise data, APIs, and workflows
1 year of experience Production Reliability, Evaluation & Guardrails – Implement monitoring, evaluation, prompt/version control, and safety guardrails to ensure agents are accurate, scalable, and enterprise-read
Desired Qualifications:
3 years of RDBMS/NoSQL Development
1 Years of Pega Smart Investigate experience
Pega Certification - LSA - Lead System Architect, Part 2
5 years' experience working with CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery) / EPL (Enterprise Pipe Line)
5 years of Wires / ACH or other payments specific experience.
5 years experience with Test Automation and Performance Benchmarking tooling
3 years experience with Springboot or equivalent framework
