Seeking a skilled Actuarial Business Analyst / Actuary to support actuarial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis for life insurance products. The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights, ensuring model accuracy, and supporting business decision-making.
Mandatory Skills
Actuarial Expertise
Strong experience in actuarial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment
Hands-on experience with life insurance products (Term Life, Universal Life, PRT)
Certifications
ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) – Mandatory
FSA preferred
Technical Skills
Experience with GGY Axis (preferred) or MG-ALFA
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and VBA
Strong experience handling large datasets & automation
Core Competencies
Experience in pricing, forecasting, and profitability analysis
Strong knowledge of actuarial models, assumptions, and financial projections
Expertise in model validation, governance, and QA processes
Business & Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of life insurance domain
Experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Underwriting)
