About the Practice

Halley Speech Therapy is a small, private pediatric speech-language pathology practice serving the Kent/Tukwila and surrounding area. Founded in 2022, I've grown from a home-based practice into a two-room clinic. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and child-led, and many of my clients are autistic or otherwise neurodivergent.

The Role

I'm looking for a part-time SLP to join the practice. You'll carry a caseload of pediatric clients with a range of communication needs, working within my existing clinical framework and culture.

If you have a particular area you'd like to specialize in, I'm happy to accommodate— just know it may mean it takes a bit longer to build up your caseload.

Clinical focus areas may include:

• Complex communication disorders and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication)
• Articulation and phonology
• Language delays/disorders
• Fluency
• Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS)
• Feeding

What I'm Looking For

• Current Washington State SLP license (or license-eligible)
• CCC-ASHA certification (or actively completing CFY)
• Experience with pediatric populations
• Comfort with AAC systems and complex communication needs a plus
• A genuinely neurodiversity-affirming, child-led approach to therapy
• Strong documentation skills

Schedule

• Part-time, 10–20 hours per week
• Interested in more hours or going full-time? Let me know — I'm happy to work with you as the practice's needs and your availability grows
• Some afternoon/after-school availability preferred, as this is my highest-demand time slot
• Saturday availability optional

What I Offer
