Key Responsibilities
- Perform PV1 verification, accuracy checks, and quality assurance.
- Support PV2 tasks as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, compliance, and therapeutic appropriateness.
- Verify prescriptions, ensuring full adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely prescription processing.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with pharmacy standards.
- Comply with all professional and ethical guidelines.
- No dispensing of Schedule II (c2) medications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all pharmacy processes.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Adaptable and open-minded, with the ability to adjust quickly to changes in workflow or procedures.
- Comfortable and confident working with off-label medications with internal and regulatory standards.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure appropriate medication handling.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Energetic and self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude.
- Active Pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD) in good standing.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
