Project Manager Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support our project management team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role involves assisting with project coordination and documentation. Wage will be based on experience.

Duties

• Support project managers with administrative tasks such as notations for estimates and billing.
• Coordinate project documentation, including permits, Miss Digs, certificates of insurance and bond requests.
• Utilize SAGE 300CRE construction specific software, Microsoft Office/EXCEL and shared drives for document management and collaboration among team members.
• Help ensure timelines for project start dates/milestones/completion.
• Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Maintain organized records of project activities, timelines, and deliverables to support effective time management.
• Assist in the preparation of reports as necessary related to project status and performance metrics.

Experience

• Familiarity with construction management principles, terminology and practices is essential.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and understanding of civil engineering concepts is a plus.
• Previous experience in a construction site environment will be beneficial for this role.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
