What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Operators/Laborers position at Hallack Contracting, Inc.?
Hallack Contracting, Inc. is hiring Landscape Operators and Laborers for 2025. Applicants must have an attention for detail and pride in their work.
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable towing a trailer.
- Operators must have experience operating skidsteers, mini excavators, tractors, and implements (seeders, augers, gills, tillers). Laborers must be comfortable with using hand tools such as rakes, shovels, saws and come a longs.
- Applicants must also be proficient in building rock and block retaining walls and laying edging and pavers.
- Chauffeurs license is required - CDL B or A is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance
- Competent in the use hand tools and equipment
- Ability to perform physical labor daily (lift/carry minimum 50 lbs)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and team work skills necessary
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
