This is a hands-on warehouse position focused on carpet handling and order preparation. You'll cut carpet to spec, organize materials, and load/unload product for delivery and installation crews. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and you take pride in getting details right, you'll fit in well here.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut carpet and padding accurately to work orders (measure twice, cut once)
- Load and unload carpet rolls, materials, and supplies safely
- Stage orders for installers and deliveries so everything is complete and ready
- Assist with receiving shipments and verifying quantities/materials
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe
- Help with moving flooring, trims, adhesives, and other materials as needed
- Communicate issues early (damaged product, missing items, incorrect cuts)
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent--your team can count on you
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting, rolling, carrying, standing, bending)
- Detail-oriented: accurate measurements and clean cuts matter
- Comfortable using basic software apps, such as Buildertrend and RFMS
- Safety-first mindset around sharp tools, heavy rolls, and warehouse equipment
- Works well with a team and takes direction without attitude
- Warehouse or flooring experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
- Valid driver's license is a plus (not required unless noted by the hiring team)
- 20-22 USD based on experience and yearly bonus
- Fully paid insurance (after 90 days)
