What You’ll Do
- Review blueprints, site plans, and builder/designer specifications to prepare accurate takeoffs and cost estimates for mirrors, art layouts, and related products.
- Calculate project costs by analyzing materials, labor, and overhead, while maintaining expertise in mouldings, mats, glazing, hardware, and installation components.
- Develop and submit competitive bids/quotes to homebuilders, designers, and contractors while protecting company margins.
- Coordinate with builders, site supervisors, and internal teams (production, warehouse, installation) to plan and execute mirror installation projects on schedule.
- Oversee project timelines, deliveries, and installer scheduling to align with builder requirements and construction schedules.
- Conduct on-site measurements, inspections, and walk-throughs as needed to ensure accuracy and resolve project issues.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time.
- Track project status, costs, and progress; provide regular updates to management and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builder and contractor clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or commercial glass/mirror installation.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, takeoffs, and construction documents.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency with project management software, spreadsheets, and measurement tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
