A thought leader and change maker who will provides data driven insights and analytical support in solving strategic and operational problems by working with business data sets and translating data into actionable reports, analytics and dashboards that will influence business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Builds data pipelines to prepare and unify accounting, ERP, CRM, payroll and other business data to ensure info is accurate and interpretable for analysis
- Leverages pre-existing machine learning algorithms to cleanse and classify business data and to build predictive business analytics
- Identifies and assists in developing clear and actionable business and operational metrics that help drive positive business outcomes
- Builds interactive dashboards, data visualizations and analytics that provide our clients with powerful, pre-built business intelligence solutions that drive their business
Requirements :
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Two or more years of experience building business reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or similar is required. Includes complex calculations, multi-component dashboard design and designing dashboards that that are interactive and can answer multiple questions by interacting with a single view. Experience with reporting on accounting data and financial statement formats is preferred
- A solid understanding of data preparation and data modeling (relationship building) is required
- Working knowledge of ETL (Extract-Transform-Load), ELT and data pipeline concepts for acquiring, cleansing, and combining diverse data sets is preferred. Experience using Tableau Prep or other ETL tools is strongly preferred, e.g. Alteryx, Fivetran, Matillion, SnapLogic
- Working knowledge of SQL to query complex data sets is preferred
- Working knowledge of using Python analytics programming language is preferred
- Working knowledge of applying common machine learning algorithms for data cleansing, clustering, classification and prediction is preferred, e.g. decision trees, logistic regression, naïve bayes, random forest, kmeans classification
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas regarding data analysis in an understandable, clear and concise manner
- A willingness and hunger to learn new data analytics tools
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics/Econometrics or related discipline is required
- A minimum of two (2) years’ intensive experience required designing and building business intelligence reporting and dashboarding solutions
