About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care in a collaborative, well-resourced environment. Ideal for an NP who values clinical autonomy, work-life balance, and long-term growth in a stable community practice.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and manage individualized care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Provide patient education and preventive care counseling
- Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Schedule:
- 4.5 days per week
- Half day reserved as dedicated administrative/charting time — no after-hours documentation expected
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary $95,000 – $120,000, negotiable based on experience
- Quarterly productivity bonus potential
- 20 days PTO per year 8 paid holidays
- PTO carryover allowed (up to 80 hours annually)
- Health insurance — paid in full for the employee (family coverage available at employee cost)
- 401(k) retirement plan (eligible after 1 year)
- Professional liability/malpractice insurance provided by the practice
- NP licensure fees covered by the practice
- $1,000 annual CME allowance
Qualifications:
- MSN or DNP from an accredited program
- Current NP license in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain one
- Board certification — FNP, AGNP, or equivalent
- Experience in primary care or internal medicine preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
