What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional Long Term Substitute position at Halifax Elementary School?
This paraprofessional position is located at Halifax Elementary School in Halifax, MA and reports to the principal. This is a long term substitute appointment, Monday - Friday, beginning in December and expected to last at least 2 months.
The position is a special education paraprofessional who:
- is responsible for working with students in grades Kindergarten through sixth.
- is responsible for working with students in the inclusion setting, sub seperate as well a pull-out setting as needed.
- support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally.
The ideal candidate:
- should have at least a high school degree
- should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- will collaborate with other staff members.
- should be willing and take professional development offered by the district.
