Halff has an immediate opening for a Public Works Team Leader (P.E.) to work from our Bentonville or Fayetteville, AR office. The ideal candidate brings 8 years of hands-on, proven experience in Public Works.
This position requires strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities. This position will have a large amount of autonomy in managing other professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.

What You Will Do
- Further develop and mentor members of the Public Works Team
- Team performance (production, profitability, quality, staffing, etc.)
- Maintain and further develop client relationships throughout the Northwest Arkansas including multiple Cities and Counties
- Identify business opportunities and lead the successful pursuit
- Directly manage projects and oversee project managers on various projects
- Work closely with other Halff leaders and manage resources to successfully workshare across the company on multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering PE License in Arkansas, or transferable within 2 months
- 8 years of experience in utility and public works design
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Good technical writing and communication skills
- Experience in project scope development, professional services fee development and staffing projections
- Experience in producing winning project proposals as lead professional/project manager
- Strong ability to train and mentor staff
- Must be proficient in project management, administration, and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- Positive attitude, self-directed
- Diverse and interdisciplinary teams can manage projects from inception through completion.
