Utility Locator/Designator - SUE – Oklahoma City, OK!
Halff has a current opening for a SUE Technician in our Oklahoma City, OK location.

What you will do:
- Operate various electromagnetic locating equipment, to locate and mark underground utilities within prescribed accuracy limits.
- Read and interpret utility plans/prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities.
- Provide accurate documentation and/or sketches related to locates completed.
- Operate company vehicle in a safe manner and maintain professional appearance.
- Perform manhole entry using assigned equipment and safety devices.
What you will need:
- 1 years of locating/designating experience is preferred, however, will consider new grads.
- Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
- Vac Truck experience is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Possess a meticulous attention to detail and strong ability to promote accuracy. There is very minimal room for error in this position.
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication.
- Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis.
- Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to arrive to work earlier than usual start time, beginning at 6:30am, Monday through Friday.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Will need to have flexibility to travel.
- Ability to pass a drug and background screen.
- High school diploma or GED, at minimum is required.
