Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater Utilities – Austin, TX
Halff has a position open for a Senior Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer, with their Texas PE License, to join our Water/Wastewater Utilities team as Senior Project Manager in our Austin, TX office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 3 years of Project Management experience in Water/Wastewater large diameter pipeline design. What you will do:
- Support preparation of scopes of work and budgets.
- Conduct studies, prepare reports, and read/develop construction plans and specifications.
- Manage and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and subconsultants.
- Coordinate project deliverables, manage project budgets and schedule, and identify resolution of issues.
- Manage quality assurance and control analysis to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations, Halff requirements, and comply with recognized standards and codes of practice.
- Support construction administration of projects and lead or assist permitting efforts.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree (preferably in Civil or Environmental Engineering).
- At least 3 years of project management experience in Water/Wastewater large diameter pipeline design.
- Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Water/Wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations and water storage experience desirable, but not required.
- Must be proficient with conducting studies, preparing reports, and reading/developing construction plans and specifications.
- Previous experience in coordinating project deliverables, managing project budgets and schedule, and identifying resolution of issues.
