Senior Civil Engineer, Public Works & Local Infrastructure, Phoenix, AZ
Halff has an opening for a Civil Engineer, with their Arizona PE License, to be a Project Manager on our growing Public Works & Local Infrastructure team based out of our Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 6 years of experience in Local Infrastructure, Public Works or Land Development. This position will have a large amount of autonomy in managing engineers-in-training and CAD designers. What will you do:
- Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of public works, local infrastructure, municipal roadway, trails, drainage, and land development projects.
- Conduct and manage design and plan production.
- Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
- Provide training/mentorship of other engineers

What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Arizona
- At least 6 years of experience in local infrastructure and public works design
- AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD experience preferred
- Strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with public entities
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Must be proficient in project management, administration and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- Positive attitude, self-directed required
- Willingness to develop a network of municipal clients and teaming partners
