The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering experience with a focus on transportation in the consulting industry and/or working with, or for, public sector clients.

What you will do:
- Manage inspection and testing teams/coordinating tasks of moderate size and complexity, make decisions independently, and resolve complex problems.
- Manage budgets, personnel, schedules, sub consultants, and client interaction.
- Supports operation managers and practice leaders in business development and pursuit of construction engineering and inspection opportunities.
What you will need:
- 5 years of project management experience in Texas.
- B.S. or M.S. Civil Engineering with P.E. license in Texas (or other states a plus), or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- DOT experience (as a DOT employee or consultant) is a must; TxDOT, is preferred.
- Ability to lead a project and supervise a technical staff of 5-15 employees.
- Possess an extensive understanding of construction standards and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to travel to construction sites for extended periods and work outside of normal business hours.
- Must be self-directed, yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success.
