What You Will Do
- Manage inspection and testing teams/coordinating tasks of moderate size and complexity, make decisions independently, and resolve complex problems.
- Manage budgets, personnel, schedules, sub consultants, and client interaction.
- Supports operation managers and practice leaders in business development and pursuit of construction engineering and inspection opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience in the Construction industry in Texas.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Texas, or transferrable within 6 months.
- DOT experience (as a DOT employee or consultant) is a must; TxDOT, is preferred.
- Ability to lead a project and supervise a technical staff of 5-15 employees.
- Possess an extensive understanding of construction standards and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to travel to construction sites for extended periods and work outside of normal business hours.
- Must be self-directed, yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success.
- Full spectrum of your project needs: transportation, water/wastewater, utilities, power transmission and vertical construction.
- Outstanding relationships with owners, stakeholders and developers across multiple regions and disciplines.
- Unified BIM platform. Always incorporating innovative technology, allowing us to customize solutions for the benefits of our partners.
