Water/Wastewater Intern
Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Water/Wastewater team. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with drainage and stormwater analysis and design and support Water & Wastewater Utility projects, including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction. The Intern will help perform water resources design, support projects in water resources planning, hydrology and hydraulic modeling, and other engineering tasks as needed. What You Will Do
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Help design drainage and stormwater analysis and design
- Support Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction
- Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water Resources projects
- Perform drafting CAD work
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Experience with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS is required
- Great communication skills
- Solid relationship and team building skills
- Self-motivated and strong organization skills

- Interdisciplinary team can provide full services from land development to treatment facility design.
