Duties
- Lead and supervise sitework and utility construction teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, construction schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project schedules to optimize resource allocation and meet deadlines.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Manage vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project specifications.
- Monitor construction progress daily, conduct site inspections, and implement quality control measures in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal safety standards.
- Oversee budget management, cost tracking, and change order processing to maintain financial control of projects.
- Utilize project management software to document progress, track issues, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with local construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies while supervising crews on-site.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics for utility installations including pipelines, electrical systems, and other infrastructure components.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce OSHA compliance requirements, and manage incident investigations as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience managing sitework and utility construction projects within commercial, municipal, and federal environments.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise diverse teams effectively while managing multiple subcontractors across complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project planning methodologies.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings (schematics), and conducting construction drawing reviews.
- Thorough experience with heavy equipment operation used in Sitework.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards; experience implementing safety programs on-site is essential.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to coordinate between clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams seamlessly.
- Prior experience in managing budgets, estimating costs accurately through construction estimating techniques, and maintaining quality control throughout project phases is highly desirable.

- This position will be required to travel to jobsites throughout Northern California. You may be required to travel up to 70 miles (from our Stockton Location) away on a daily basis, depending on the locations of the jobsites.
