Are you interested in pursuing a career in civil or environmental engineering consulting? We are looking to bring on an Intern, High School STEM to assist engineers and project managers with day-to-day project tasks. This is a paid temporary role ($20/hour), that will be at least six weeks, 20 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & half day Thursday). The anticipated start date for this position is July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to get some hands-on, working field experience and be a valuable contributor to our project teams. This is a part-time position located in our Boston, MA office.

Duties/Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Learn about consulting, civil engineering (and specific geotechnical and environmental disciplines), and how to communicate in a professional setting.
- Job shadow in a support role, working on interesting and technically challenging projects in the Metro and Greater Boston area.
- Assist with evaluation of subsurface geotechnical and environmental data.
- Express a willingness to visit construction sites to assist and/or learn in the field with our field services group.
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Candidate should be working towards a high school diploma with an interest in civil engineering and/or environmental science related field.
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Computer Skills – Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to work for six consecutive weeks part-time during the Summer 2026.
- Completion of OSHA 10 certification prior to start date.
