Job Summary
We are looking for responsible and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our FedEx Ground delivery team. We deliver out of South Baltimore, MD to the surrounding communities If you enjoy driving, staying active, and working independently, this is the job for you
Delivery experience with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, USPS, DHL, courier services, or moving companies is preferred, but not required.
Duties
- Safely operate a FedEx delivery vehicle
- Load, unload, and deliver packages efficiently
- Handle packages up to 150 lbs with a dolly/handtruck.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
- Assist team members as needed
- Complete pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Understand and be able to use mobile applications on company provided scanner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass strict background check
- Familiarity with route driving and local geography to optimize delivery schedules.
- Ability to operate a large commercial vehicles.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving packages throughout the day.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
