Duties
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely to transport materials and equipment across construction sites
- Use caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry techniques for finishing touches that ensure weatherproofing and aesthetic quality
- Support framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and concrete forming activities as needed for roofing structures
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, roofing, or general construction site work is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment is essential
- Knowledge of roofing materials such as Comp Shingle , tile, metal roofing, and restoration techniques
- Experience with plumbing, masonry, welding, or remodeling projects is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Previous handyman experience or familiarity with construction safety protocols will be advantageous
