We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Production Associate to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This energetic role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient production operations during the evening hours. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for doing wire set ups and chrome plating, inspecting, and handling materials with precision and safety in mind. Responsibilities
- Build anodes which is bending wire in preparation for Chrome Plating
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process
- Safely handle heavy materials and perform manual lifting tasks to support assembly line operations
- Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
- Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions
- Manage inventory movement using forklifts and warehouse experience to ensure timely material flow
Requirements
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of safety standards in production environments
- Proficiency with forklift operation is helpful
- Familiarity with measuring instruments, power tools, hand tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
- Mechanical knowledge coupled with experience in manufacturing or process improvement initiatives
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly during shifts
- Strong adherence to safety protocols, including lean manufacturing practices and safety standards in production settings
