The Position
We're looking for a caring and compassionate Substitute Caregiver (Companion) to sustain our Kupuna through hospitable, welcoming personal care, homemaking, and befriending. Responsibilities include:

The Position
We're looking for a caring and compassionate Substitute Caregiver (Companion) to sustain our Kupuna through hospitable, welcoming personal care, homemaking, and befriending. Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct services to the residents of the ARCH, supporting their daily living needs, and supplementing the care of the nurse in a holistic approach to care.
- Recognize, record, and report to the nurse in a timely manner any significant change in the resident's health status, and/or mental or physical well-being.
- Demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to adult and geriatric patient populations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age of 18
- Must complete a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program
- CPR and First Aide Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii, preferred
- 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house)
