Role Overview
The Attendant Care/Safe Place Worker is an on-call position covering the entire island of O'ahu. This person will conduct business professionally and cordially and will uphold the integrity and reputation of Hale Kipa. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to organizational policies, regulations, and procedures.
Availability:
- Monday to Thursday 5pm - 6am
- Friday to Sunday 5pm - 6am
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
- A minimum of 2 years of college preferred and/or related experience working in this field.
Requirements
- Ability to connect with youth and understand family and youth dynamics.
- Knowledge about Child Welfare Services and Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice practices and laws.
- A valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance & safety check
- Access to a vehicle for the purpose of transporting youth on occasion.
