We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient vital signs and observe changes in condition
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings meticulously
- Support patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity
- Collaborate with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly in accordance with legal requirements
Skills
- Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the appropriate regulatory body
- Proven experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of current healthcare practices, policies, and procedures.
