Job Summary
Hale Contracting is seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Finisher to join our growing team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience forming, pouring, finishing, and repairing concrete for commercial and residential projects. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and working safely as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Form, pour, and finish concrete sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and gutters
- Set and align forms to project specifications
- Place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools
- Operate trowels, floats, screeds, and other finishing equipment
- Cut control joints and apply finishing techniques as required
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Work effectively with crew members, supervisors, and equipment operators
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher required
- Experience with curb and gutter work preferred
- Ability to read grade stakes, measurements, and project plans is a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain throughout the day

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Overtime available as needed
- Occasional nights and weekends based on project requirements
