Your morning begins with in-process checks on close-tolerance parts using calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages, and a surface plate. You move to the lab to program and run a Zeiss CMM, validating critical dimensions and documenting results. A First Article Inspection per AS9102 is queued next; you build the inspection plan in High QA, collaborate with machinists to resolve any discrepancies, and finalize results for part release. In the afternoon, you support a customer audit, tidy and organize digital records, and help refine inspection processes as the team transitions further into fully digital planning and traceability.
