Counter Associate

Location: Lyons, NY
Pay: $20.00–$27.00 per hour 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00/5:00 PM

PBS Supply is actively seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our retail sales team as a Counter Associate.

PBS Supply is a locally owned, full-service residential and commercial distribution center located in Lyons, NY, specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical products. For over 24 years, we have built a reputation as one of the region's premier suppliers for contractors and do-it-yourself professionals. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an outstanding PBS Supply experience.
• Assist customers with placing orders and checking product availability.
• Pull, verify, and package products for counter customers.
• Research parts, pricing, and availability from outside vendors.
• Stock shelves, face merchandise, and replenish pipe racks daily.
• Create product transfers when inventory is unavailable.
• Process returns, debit memos, and warranty claims.
• Prepare customer bids and quotes.
• Effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous counter sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Valid driver's license required.
