As a Distribution Specialist, you’ll support Hal Leonard’s mission by ensuring customers from around the world receive the correct, quality product on time. You'll work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment, alongside knowledgeable, helpful team members.

Primary Function:

Pick product and wrap orders in a distribution/warehouse environment while ensuring high standards of quality.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Verbal communication skills
• Read and understand written information.
• Multitask in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Attention to detail, especially with numbers.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick and wrap customer orders while maintaining required averages and standards.
• Assist with price changes, product rework, returns, mailers, and job tickets.
• Keep aisles and work areas neat and orderly at all times.
• Work safely and follow safety rules to avoid injury to self and others.
• Ensure quality and quantity control of all products.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists the department in additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Working Relationships:

• Work with Distribution & Warehouse Supervisors to obtain guidance on projects & priorities.
• Work with cross-functional teams throughout Hal Leonard LLC to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined.

Manual Dexterity: Repeatedly walk, bend, reach, twist, turn and stand in one place for extended periods of time. Use hands to handle objects, tools, and controls; eye/hand coordination; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear.

Physical Effort: Lift and/or lower items weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to lift 7 lb. bundles repeatedly over a period of 4 hours.
