Overview
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to work in-house to oversee the daily operations of our commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high property standards, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing financial performance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a commitment to optimizing property value and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Operations: Oversee the day-to-day management of commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
- Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns, coordinating maintenance, and fostering positive relationships.
- Lease Administration: Monitor lease compliance, ensuring adherence to lease terms and requirements.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage operating/expense budgets, approve expenses, and ensure rent collection while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Coordinate property maintenance, inspections, and repairs, working with vendors and contractors to ensure timely service.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and oversee service contracts with vendors, ensuring high-quality service at competitive pricing.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure properties comply with all local regulations, safety codes, and company policies.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare property status updates and maintenance logs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in Property management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of lease agreements, property operations, construction and building systems, i.e., roofs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
