Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and preferences.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns and enhance overall health.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout their sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa environment to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of patient assessment methods and medical terminology.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy practices.
• Experience in pain management techniques is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
