Duties
- Provide expert hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Perform barbering services including straight razor shaves and classic haircuts with precision and attention to detail
- Deliver high-quality eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care treatments to enhance clients’ beauty routines
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
- Engage with clients through effective communication, offering personalized consultations and product recommendations to meet their beauty goals
- Assist at the front desk with client check-ins, appointment confirmations, retail upselling, and retail math calculations to maximize sales opportunities
- Mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative environment focused on skill enhancement and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling, coloring, and grooming services
- Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and cosmetology licensing requirements in your region
- Skilled in hair care techniques including color theory, hair extensions application, and advanced styling methods
- Ability to perform barbering services such as straight razor shaves with professionalism and safety awareness
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
- Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling techniques and retail math calculations
- Experience working with diverse beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading is highly desirable
