Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on massage benefits and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and relaxation
- Maintain detailed treatment records while adhering to confidentiality standards and medical terminology protocols
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and provide personalized care experiences
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy
- Proven experience in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health treatments
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop customized treatment plans
- CPR certification is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Prior experience in med spa settings or wellness centers is preferred but not mandatory
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy techniques and industry standards

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
