HRC of Iowa has been helping men and women regain confidence through advanced hair replacement and hair restoration solutions since 1982.
We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and motivated Licensed Cosmetologist or Hair Stylist to join our Cedar Rapids team.
This is not a traditional salon position.
Instead of serving multiple clients at once, you'll work one-on-one in a private setting helping individuals experiencing hair loss due to genetics, medical conditions, stress, aging, or other factors.
Every client who walks through our doors is looking for more than a hairstyle. They're looking for confidence, hope, and a trusted professional who can help them feel like themselves again.

What You'll Do
- Consult with clients experiencing hair loss
- Perform haircutting, styling, coloring, and maintenance services
- Assist clients with non-surgical hair replacement systems
- Educate clients on scalp health and hair care
- Build long-term relationships with clients
- Participate in ongoing education and training
- Maintain a professional and confidential client environment
QualificationsRequired
- Current Iowa Cosmetology/Barber License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Desire to learn specialized techniques
Preferred
- Previous salon experience
- Hair color expertise
- Client consultation experience
