Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math calculations.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting.
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and supporting inventory replenishment efforts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming shopping environment.
- Support supervising staff during peak hours or special promotions to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer experiences.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with grocery store operations or merchandising is a plus but not mandatory.
