Chair for rent /or hybrid commission salon

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation skill set, with a flair for creativity and an eye for detail.

If full time chair rental with no commission days- you must have your own full or growing clientele.

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, or specialize in one or the other is ok
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients and offering tailored recommendations.
• Use salon software
• Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales.
• Mentor junior stylists and support their professional development within the salon.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling
• Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proficiency in hair cutting or
• Coloring
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience with retail sales preferred
• Familiarity with salon management software Square (MEEVO in future).
• A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing education and skill development.
• Ability to work collaboratively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
