Duties
- Deliver a wide range of hair services such as cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions tailored to client needs.
- Perform specialized treatments including eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to elevate client satisfaction.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations.
- Utilize salon software (meevo) for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering personalized recommendations.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to enhance the client experience and increase revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with proven experience in hair styling and grooming techniques
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively.
- Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue
Pay: $22.56 - $27.17 per hour
