Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and perm services tailored to individual client needs
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry regulations
- Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items through upselling and client education
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their preferences and deliver personalized service experiences
- Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in hair styling, coloring, and treatments
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety standards in a salon setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients
- Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
