Immediate Work Available – Active Warehouse Projects

Haigler Systems is seeking experienced Structured Cabling Technicians / 1099 Subcontractors for immediate project work supporting active warehouse environments. We currently have projects underway and are looking for qualified contractors who can begin work as soon as possible.

This is a subcontractor/project-based opportunity, not a full-time W-2 position. Contractors who perform well may also be considered for additional projects and ongoing subcontractor opportunities with Haigler Systems.

Scope of Work

Selected contractors may be responsible for:

  • Pulling and routing Cat5e, Cat6, and/or Cat6A cabling
  • Installing cable in active warehouse and commercial environments
  • Terminating Ethernet cabling at patch panels and keystone jacks
  • Installing and terminating data drops for workstations, network equipment, wireless access points, cameras, phones, and other devices
  • Installing wall plates, jacks, patch panels, and related cabling hardware
  • Routing and securing cable using appropriate pathways, J-hooks, cable supports, and existing infrastructure
  • Performing cable management within MDFs, IDFs, network racks, and cabinets
  • Labeling all installed cabling and corresponding patch-panel/drop locations
  • Testing completed cable runs and verifying proper termination
  • Troubleshooting and correcting failed cable runs or terminations
  • Mounting wireless access points, cameras, or other low-voltage equipment when required by the project
  • Maintaining a clean and professional work area throughout the project
  • Providing documentation and photos of completed work when requested

Required Qualifications

  • Previous professional structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience
  • Experience pulling and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
  • Experience terminating patch panels and keystone jacks
  • Ability to test and troubleshoot completed cable runs
  • Understanding of proper cable routing, labeling, and cable management practices
  • Professional appearance and conduct while working at customer locations
  • Reliable transportation to project sites
  • Ability to provide your own standard structured cabling hand tools
  • Availability to begin project work immediately or on short notice

Compensation

Compensation is project-based and/or hourly depending on the scope of work and will be agreed upon before work begins.
