Tax Preparer

We are a family-owned, full-service accounting firm that supports individuals and small business in all of their bookkeeping and accounting needs. We are seeking an experienced tax preparer to join our office team in beautiful Snohomish, Washington. The ideal candidate would be someone who is dependable, hardworking, and has a high attention to detail.

Duties / Responsibilities

The tax preparer position will be working independently and collaboratively with our accounting team to prepare, review, finalize, and file federal and state tax returns. Duties will also include communicating with clients and other staff members to obtain necessary information to prepare taxes. Our office approach is collaborative and team oriented. The candidate must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and driven, but also coordinate well with team members.

Required

• Tax preparation experience
• Customer services experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook, etc.)
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Preferred

• 2 years tax preparation experience
• Experience using DRAKE software

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
