About Our Company
A leading jeweler and art business with over 50 years of experience is seeking a full-time (5 days a week, some Saturdays) jewelry sales associate. We are a three-tier business that deals in internet sales, antique shows held throughout the U.S., and our brick and mortar store that specialize in custom, classic and antique jewelry, jewelry repair, and consignments. We also have a gallery that sells Asian, ancient, and fine art.
Skills/Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have jewelry sales experience with a working knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and gold/silver/platinum. This is mainly a sales associate position; however, all employees help in assisting the owner with writing up repair jobs, estate buys, inventory, and office work. The candidate must also possess proficiency in Microsoft Office. The candidate will be a self-motivated team player, energetic with a positive attitude, and be able to maintain client relations.
Experience with Jewelry Shopkeeper, ordering parts, designing jewelry, changing watch batteries, and/or shop knowledge is a plus.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary for this position commensurate with experience starting at $18/hr with additional commission.
