Part-Time Server
HaiFry is looking for a friendly, dependable part-time server to join our team. We are a growing restaurant focused on providing excellent food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming experience for every guest.
This position will typically receive three to four shifts per week. Flexible availability is preferred, and availability on weekend mornings is especially helpful. Additional shifts may occasionally be offered based on restaurant needs and employee availability.
Pay: $2.15 per hour plus tips
Schedule: Part-time, approximately three to four shifts per week
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- Deliver food and drinks promptly
- Check on guests throughout their meals
- Process payments accurately
- Maintain clean and organized tables, sections, and service areas
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere for new and returning guests
- Work cooperatively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Stay productive during slower periods by cleaning, organizing, preparing, and assisting other team members
Qualifications
- Flexible availability
- Weekend morning availability is strongly preferred
- Previous serving experience is helpful but not required
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, improve, and grow with the restaurant
- Ability to take initiative and stay productive without constant direction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to safely carry food, beverages, and serving trays
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required
