King Fasteners, a proud member of ProFast Supply Company, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative/ Counter Sales to join our team. This role plays a key part in providing excellent service to meet all needs of the customers. The day-to-day activities include but are not limited to, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, addressing any questions, as well as creating and presenting persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business. Other daily activities include receiving product, stocking the store, and maintaining a clean and friendly environment.

Responsibilities:
This role works in an office environment with some time spent in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise. This role may require some weekend or late-night work as the employee is the sole manager responsible for the location’s operation and emergency response.

Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assisting walk-in customers with sales at store counter.
- Assist Outside sales team via supporting sales related requests.
- Assisting Branch Manager with branch daily sales operations (counter, inside, showroom functions).
- Helps branch restock and order fulfillment by assisting with inventory check-in, stock, sorting, and shipping functions.
- Continuously seeks training and product knowledge by studying new product descriptions, participating in educational opportunities, and attending training sessions when available.
- Collaborating with Management to expand brand presence through the creation of marketing skills.
- Researching competitor’s products and pricing as well as market conditions.
- Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Previous experience in Customer Service or retail work
- Must be able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a professional manner in person, on the phone and in e-mail correspondence
- Basic math, creative problem solving and communication skills
- Computer skills including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, internet, and Epicor Prophet 21
- Demonstrate good business sense
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented mentality
